  • Anything Better than APV or EPS for a Class Rating?
Dave: what is the thinking behind making the horse's time slower for a gate work? Also, are the additions and subtractions for breezing, gate and muddy full seconds or fifths of seconds? Most work out charts I have seen start with 100 points = 46 seconds for 4 furlongs whereas Jimmy's is 46.4. It also goes up to 120 points. And the scoring is different. thank you for posting.

Dave: are you willing to share what makes Jimmy's work out chart different than the standard work out chart where there is a point scale for the various times at the various distances. Thanks!
  • Tom's Ulitmate Odds Line - The Software
Tom: your ultimate odds line was all over Early Voting for the Preakness. Nice work!
  • Tom's Ulitmate Odds Line - The Software
Tom: what is the current points classification system? In the instructions it is 10-6-4-2-1 for horses rated 1-5 in the following categories: last race speed, average class or trainer win % if you have premium, prime power, early pace and late pace. For Aqeduct you changed it to a 74 point total with more emphasis on prime power and less on average class with early pace and late pace left out. Was that system just for Aqeduct or is that now the system for all tracks? Thanks for your help and a great tool!
  • What being a member here has done for me
Ranch: how do you access Tom's Ultimate Odds Line? Is that part of HSH? Thanks!
  • My New Software is coming: The STUDIO
Dave: I don't use HSH. How much will it cost me for the new software and data fees?
  • early speed favoring tracks and surfaces?
Dave: track bias, preferably early is what I was looking for. Thanks.

Horse(s) either on the lead or within 1-2 lengths at the first call that win 30% of the time or more.
