Playing Saratoga's short meet is very difficult to profit from especially if you are playing pick 4 and 5's. The results are difficult to predict with any software program. a friend of mine hit a huge pick 5 payout at Saratoga that made the meet 34K. He told me that two of legs he would never have those winners in a million years b/c of the chaos, so he picked priced horses. He had to go all in 1 leg and 6 horses deep in another. I love Saratoga but I only play a low percentage of my bankroll there. Randomness takes over big time at that track. If you are willing to put up 300/400/500$ on every pick 5 you play, then you can get lucky. Big losing streaks eat away at the bankroll. I looked at probably 12 pick 5's that meet and played 1 of them. Keep grinding b/c one small meet doesn't make your year!

It's Belterra park!! what do you expect. somebody came along and placed a 500 win bet. :rofl: I remember one night I loved a horse at CT and the odds were 9/1. I bet 800 to win on the horse and knocked the horse down to 5/1. the closest I came to being a CAW.. :rofl:

The horse had two recent A workouts as well. Definitively not a hidden horse.

How many programs do you need. i would say overkill!

don't forget these are the best horses in the field. traditional handicap or biases will not hold up. This is why on breeders' cup day I take shots! GL!

I dont' think it's the horseman's money. Sharper players money for sure.

The issue I have is you think you are betting a 10+ horse but after the gate opens its +1. Value moved to another horse. 2/3 of the winners are bet down after the gate opens.

Hi Jim, so reyonlds 2 means that a horse finished first one time in the object and then 2 in another part of the object even if the horse was 6 in another, etc. for example owhale object: the 5 horse may be ranked 1 in psr and 2 in cpw and the other 4 objects ranked 4th. it takes the best two. 1x2=2 rank in Rey. Hope this helps.

I've come across quite a few chaos 5 races that the AI will handicap.
