Can you break it down to where the top horse is 5 or 6 ? Then break that down to those with 5 or 6 which also have a 4 point edge?Dave, there are 4613 runners in 627 dirt sprint races from 1/1/2021 to 11/7/2021 and they are not broken out by shapes.
Interesting idea though and if I can work it in/up without having to stay up late, I'll see what I can do.
Yes! I lean to "obvious" overlays that often lie "outside the numbers". It comes from my old school handicapping education combined with keen observation. Is there anything in particular that tends to fuel your contrarian fire
Yes! I'm that guy! Pen, paper ,cerebral energy and a handful of spot plays. In the past I have used spot plays, physicality and claims with at least some success. Now, I am using Sartin methodology. What do you use? Do you use a computer? Or are you like one guy I knew... a Big Chief Tablet handicapper? Do you have confidence in what you are doing?
It seems that the point of the cutout is to eliminate any edge that the rail position might have otherwise held in the run to the wire. Thus.."multiple horses " attempting to gain rail postion wouldn't be an issue.I also see a safety concern running through the turn. Will the cutaway make navigating the turn more dangerous as multiple horses attempt to gain rail position?
At first glance,I must agree that the "cutout" would be a positive safety move as it "spreads" the field at the top of the stretch and eliminates any "edge" that diving for the rail might afford once past the cutout . The "straight" line is the same distance to the wire wherever the horse is placed on the track. Thus ,fewer traffic difficulties .I thought it would IMPROVE safety for the riders because you wouldn't have the guys coming through on the rail
It certainly is ! However , I'm certain that my "default" position differs considerably from yours ,which makes it easy to comment.Tough balancing act William
Are these companies whose sole endeavor is investing in horse racing wagering or do they also conduct other business?Seriously?
One company wagered $300m and made $27m profit.
That's a +9% ROI.
But even more amazing is that they did it out of a $3m bankroll.
Thus, that is 9x on their money for the year.
They have 100 employees.
