What are the definitions of the fields in the "Races" window?

What is the exact definition of a dominant odds horse?

A horse projected to be below 1.22 to 1.

Good Race = a finish 1st or 2nd or within 1 length of the winner on a similar surface,
at the approximate distance and a class level equal or higher than today's race.

Bad Race (not good) = a finish 3rd or worse or greater than 1 length the behind
on a similar surface, at the approximate distance and a class level equal or lower than
today's race.

On "The Ask", dots represent races where the horse was asked to do something different
from what he is being asked to do today. The horse may have done well, maybe even won,
but it was at different conditions than he is facing today.

Less than 10 dots means the horse has run only that number of dots/times.

With so few "G" and "B"'s, are trainers running horses just to run them and never figuring
out what the horse is best at?

i.e. E=1st call, EP=2nd, LP=Not E, SR=Not E or EP.
... predicts the running style of the race.

Another way to look at it is:

RED LP Means could be anything after 1st call.
_________________
RED SR Means should be Str Call or Last Furlong, but might be as early as 2nd call.

Pay special attention to the SHOULDS versus the COULDS.

It's my understanding that E,EP,LP or SR is not indicative of how they will run early, or late.I use an object for that. — john g

“Good race.” According to Quirin:

A “good race” typically refers to a horse’s recent performance.
If a horse finished 1st or 2nd or 3rd or was within 2 lengths in
a sprint or within 3 lengths in a route.

*When I say "favorite," I do not mean the post time tote favorite. My definition of a favorite is any horse that is projected to go off at below 3/1.

When I say, "Projected," I mean using what I call the "aML." That stands for Artificial Morning Line.

"In my research I came across the work of Osborne Reynolds, a 19th century English physicist and engineer whose area of interest was “turbulence” (fluid mechanics). In 1883 Reynolds, by experimenting with pipes of varying sizes, was able to come up with a number, (now known as the “Reynolds number”) that tells engineers when a fluid system will reach turbulence."

I'm on v 1.0006 now and it is working correctly.

So I can't go to 1.0007?

HQx file not writing again.

I'm on version 1.0006.
Tried reinstalling update 1.0006 and still didn't write.

Went back to original install - 1.0000 and extracted.
Ran update 1.0006.

Worked.

Any ideas on what would cause the HQx file to not write
(file is there, just empty)??

AI is becoming frightening with how good it is getting.

Windows key - shift - S
all 3 at the same time will give you a drag window
on your screen. Drag it (hold down left mouse button
and hold it down) to cover what you want.
When you release the left mouse button, it will copy
your box to the clipboard. Then, just paste to where you want.
Put cursor where you want the window. Right click and then paste.

Upgraded to 002 and still didn't work.

Went to laptop and copied 001 full folder and overwrote
all files on desktop.

Tried to open HQ. HQ opened ok.

Upgraded to002 and opened HQ. HQ opened ok.

I'm fixed.

I know we haven't made any objects yet, but if you reinstall,
will you overwrite created objects or do we need to copy and
rename object files to keep them from being overwritten?
