When I tried to enter the user name and password on my laptop (already on my desk top and working well), I got the following error message::
An unexpected problem detected by WLanguage security mechanism.
Click "copy" to copy the error and contact the application provider.
I already entered my username and password intohshunpw.txt
I can open DET.exe ok.

No clue.
Never seen this.
The WLanguage is the referencing WinDev, the language that app was written in.
That sounds like a file in the folder was not copied.
I can meet with you in an hour or so if you'd like me to look at it.

Fixed. Not sure how or why, but I restarted
my machine and went back to the program
and it opened ok.
1st question IT Help always asks: "Did you reboot
your machine?" Maybe they're not as dumb
as we all think they are.

That usually means something was upgraded that was open at the time you upgraded.
Not likely DET, but something else.
