Some of the BALOs get bet way up - 5/1 or higher.

Are these higher prices visible at 1-2 minutes to post
or are the severe odds increases only seen after the gates open?

I bet through Bovada and betting is cut off at 0 minutes to post. If the
horses circle behind the gate for 5 minutes, my ability to wager late
is zero.

Rephrased - will the public show these horses as cold on the board
before the ADW money is "not" sent in? Does the public money always/
usually agree 1-2 minutes before the start with the ADW money? — ponyplayer

Please... I BEG YOU...
If you insist on using the GATE ODDS or anything from the tote board... you will prevent this from working AS IT WAS DESIGNED TO WORK.

The idea is that the AI is predicting who SHOULD or SHOULDN'T be bet.

Try to wrap your mind around the fact that this is DIFFERENT than who WILL or WON'T actually be bet.

Every experiment I have ever done with BALOs of my own creation failed miserably when I used gate odds. I KNOW it seems logical that the tote would improve things, but I PROMISE it will not.

Remember that the AI is actually using my approach to this, except it had the ability to change the numbers and modify the Ranks & Mags.

They are two different approaches.
The RED number is based upon RUNNING STYLE - and, by virtue of not being green, is NOT AI. It is a computation.

The GREEN numbers ARE AI because the AI used it's own approach to build the objects and its own algorithm to determine likeness (to the AI Line), albeit starting with a formula I gave it.

SR stands for "Stretch Run."
The RED SR means that is what the RUNNING STYLE of the race would indicate to be the most important OBJECT of the 4 objects.

Chaos races. I'm guessing that the AI ranks a Chaos "5" more chaotic than a "1"? In one of the races, you knew that it was a chaos race. Is that because there were two (2) contenders (2 Non-BALO's) or was there a field or something that indicated it was a chaos race? The Instruction or Strategy screen that you went to-- is that just for chaos races? It's a nice feature.

That is correct. The primary difference between a 4 and a 5 is that a 5 suggests doing no handicapping and just playing ALL the NATURAL ODDS horses.

With a CHAOS-4 you CAN handicap the winners to the top.

Note that applying handicapping in a CH-5 (and only betting the good ones) will get you a whole bunch of medium -priced winners --- and likely be solidly profitable --- but at the expense of the GIANT payoffs - like $0, $120 and the like.

Those horses just very rarely handicap to the top against horses that ultimately wind up paying $12.

IOW, you might have a 4f race for young horses that the AI chose to handicap like a mile on the dirt for older horses.

I simply have no idea how they are segmented.

I only know that it is powerfully consistent.

But know that I did zero segmentation.

A SHORT update

I have 8 bugs that I know of - 3 are real traffic stoppers.

I am taking a couple of days to slay the big bugs then will return with more videos.

Next is CHAOS RACES & STRATEGIES.

The choices were due to research done by a simple engine I created a long time ago that crawled the data trying different odds ranges.

These were the significant breakpoints that produced changes in the factor makeup.

Thus, 4/1+ horses contain a better factor makeup than 7/2+ - more CONSISTENCY IN LIKENESS.

IOW, they were built not to fit the need for human conformity to a strategy but rather where the data took me.
