If a horse has run in a non-wagering event, the race will not count as a start, but a running line will be presented.
I always assumed that if the lifetime starts was zero, then the horse had no running lines. But that is not the case.
There is also no speed rating.
Very difficult to figure out where to include the line, how to handle the line, etc.
9/1/22 SAR R10 #5 is an example.
I don't know how other data sources handle it.
